I took these with my first digital camera, a Kodak DC260 point and shoot. This photo is what got me into this entire (And expensive) passion of mine. The first photo here actually won a contest!

As well it should. Great mood in that shot.

This one's (http://www.portsmouthnh.com/photos/photoDetail.cfm?ImageID=243) not too shabby either.

This is taken from Tunnel View at Yosemite. Earlier, I stood on Dewy
Point looking into the pea soup.

Some of Tuckerman Ravine from Wildcat summit. I was experimenting with my new 400mm telephoto. I actually took all three of these from the same spot. I just changed lenses after the 1st shot.

When were these taken? Does this mean that the Tuckerman's skiing will be OK this year? Is Wildcat still good?

These were taken 3/16/04.
People were skiing tuck's that day. Plenty of snow up there.
I've been to Wildcat a few times since, good snow still, they just got about 6".

DD, I personally like #1 & #4. Whaen I've had the chance to shoot ice covered tree limbs, I've struggled with how to compose the shot. You did a nice job on those two, IMHO.

I agree, I don't like 2&3 but put them here to generate comments. I haven't found a way to make a bunch of skinny branches look anything but a bunch of skinny branches. It's like bland food.
