View Full Version : 1st shot at birds (not with a gun)

My 1st attempt of photographing birds... i'm really enjoying getting up an hour earlier, going to the park before work and taking photos... :dunno ...weird....

Anyways, let me know what you guys think..and where i can improve... I have found that birds (especially the small ones) are SOOooo hard to capture and they are spastically moving in unpredictable directions... eek !!

You did a great job! The wing extension with the take-off for the male RRBB is very nice. The perch and pose of the female RRBB is interesting too. The cormorant is showing some nice wing extension. About the nit I have is with the great egret. It looks a bit soft and background is very bright but still good. I have never been able to get a good bif of a great egret. And put that gun away for good. :wink I don't want you getting confused.:rofl
