I was walking around in the park and wanted to get some close ups of the flower and found this little guy or girl) wondering around in there... Quite difficult to focus on these creatures... lol....Shot with a Nikon D200 with 55mm micro-nikkor-P-C non-ai, with M2 extension tube.

Very nice! I especially like the second one--it looks like the ant is standing on a glass table and you shot it from underneath.

Love the first image. How the light hits the ant and the two lower stamen of the flower.

I haven't managed to capture an image of an ant, yet. They move too fast for me :D

Thanks a lot guys for the kind comments! I need to go out more with all my macro stuff, you never know what you'll come across... luckely i had the 55mm and extension tube in the bag at the time... i still need to try out my 90mm Vivitar 2.8 on these little (and other) critters :thumb
