the photos were presented very nicely on my monitor, but i have a fairly high resolution; is this a good way of presenting images or won't it fit on the screen?

:thumb Neat shots. Like the delicate of pic #2.
I don't know that you could call them abstracts so much as I see them
as close up aspects. Could be wrong there. :D
Monitor size is working pretty good. The 1024's are pushing it large for my
machine. I generally keep it at 800 wide and around 520 high tops depending.
Large is good and I believe in it where needed (print) , for net I keep it as noted. :D Michael

Good job. I like them. Somehow I never associate cacti with the Netherlands. :D

I think the majority of us have high resolutions so we can view our photos at their best...

Myself im maxed out at 1650x1050

Two is wonderful. The snow of one, after reading the title took me off guard. I like the pattern and lines in the last.

Well they're all nice shots, but those two in particular I like :D

See that snow fall would be wonderful ..well for me it would be,
maybe not for you cause you would see it year after year right :rofl

You may think so BUT not all of us have them! I am on a Lenovo R60 laptop with a 1024 X 768 screen and here at Dgrim I have to scroll for most shots that are posted. It gets VERY frustrating to not have a way to look at them in a way that would fit on my screen. Andy has come up with no suggestions of how to do so. That is one thing that I like better about DPreview in that there is a place to click if they come in too big. The detail here on the large ones is nice but there is something lost when you don't have an option to see the whole shot at once.

Thanks for listening to me vent.
