Hi All,

Is this possible to display the same thumbnail for a category on the homepage. I have several sub-categories under each category and want a manually set a picture within the gallery as the thumbnail for th category.

Take a look at my page. An example would be setting a track picture as the Sports category thumbnail.

Any help here?

Thanks,

Kevin Helton

The category thumbnail comes from the first gallery in the category. You might try moving the gallery that contains your desired category photo so it displays first, and setting the photo you want to show (for the category) as the feature photo for that gallery.

So there is no way for me to set the photo that is thumbnailed for a given category?

It does appear that it takes the thumbnail photo from the top left gallery within the cateogory. Unfortunately, that's not the one I want displayed and I don't want to change the order of the galleries within the category.

I would LOVE to know a way to do this, too!

Example: I have Family category w/ misc sub categories + galleries. I have the galleries ordered by date (month). To make it easier for guests (and myself), I would really like to keep the months/years in order.

BUT, the picture used for the Category thumbnail is NOT the pic I want to use to represent the Category (esp since using a Gallery thumbnail and in this case I want a subcategory thumbnail to be used).

Ideas?
