I was just wondering something. I understand smugmug is an online interface for everyone's galleries. But if smugmug is also positioning itself as an online backup for users, why aren't users able to upload raw files? This is not a deal breaker for me, but I was just wondering.

What I would like some clarification on is why smugmug won't support tif files. I have some scanned negative images that are in tif format. I'd like to keep them in this format if possible.

Also, I noticed there is mp3 file support. What's preventing some users from uploading their entire mp3 collection onto their smugmug account?

Thanks. :scratch

Sounds like a fine idea to me. Thanks for the suggestion :thumb
