A special thanks to all of our Florida friends who made it such a memorable weekend and were such great guides.

Wonderful images Harv. Really liked the first one. How did you get above a BIF in #7?
I see you moved Harry's Eagle from the stick to a palm frond. :D

You did very good Harv, they're all excellent images,
but if I was allowed only one pick I'd choose #9,
very elegant pose and beautiful bokeh!:lust

Thanks a lot, guys. I really appreciate your kind comments.
Bob, I was standing on high ground beside the pond when that GBH took flight and the osprey was actually carrying that hunk of bark (or whatever it is) to the nest. Amazing what they can carry and still fly.

I could only dream about capturing that many birds in a weekend, and I live here. Each one is wonderful! Love the Ospreys and #11. MM
BTW the osprey is holding a piece of a palm tree.

Thanks very much. Actually, there were several more species but I felt I was posting too many images. We were on the road quite a bit moving from location to location to get as many species as we could. You guys are lucky to have so much available to shoot there.

Nice series Harv. It was good to finally hook up with you and Mao to shoot. Glad MY OSPREYS put on a fairly decent show for you guys during our boat adventure. Not as good as the one the morning after you left, though. :huh :D I'm having osprey withdrawls with my camera D.O.A. Hope I get it back soon.... :cry

Thanks, Mike. I hope you get your camera back soon as well. You'll be like a fish out of water without it.

Thanks a lot, Glenn. That shot seems to be a favourite with many who've seen it. It posed so well for us I felt I should get a model release signed.

Thanks a lot, Anna. Yes, Gatorland was one of the locations we did some shooting. The limpkin was shot at Viera.

Great shots. #7 and #12 are the ones that I like the best. Where were they shot?

Thanks a lot. #7 was shot at the Venice Rookery, although I found myself somewhat disappointed overall with the rookery when we were there. Not a lot going on. #12 was shot from a boat on a waterway that empties into the Gulf, a little south of Venice.

Wonderful (really great) captures Harv. I tried to pic a favorite (was leaning toward the Osprey) but just to many excellent shots to pick just one.
The Osprey has enough bark to build a canoe, that gives him an "A" for effort..:clap :clap
