Hey everybody, starting tomorrow I will celebrating my first year anniversary of being a photographer. It's been quite the adventure since I was too afraid to take my new Canon Rebel XTi out of its box....to actually getting paid by clients to take their pictures.

I have a ton of folks to thank and that includes all my fellow Grinners on this board. This forum was and is a welcoming place for me to get ideas from colleagues, to keep shooting every week and to grow in my ability as a photographer. I appreciate everyone's encouragement, especially all the great folks in Customization who were tireless in their aid in helping me create an AWESOME Smugmug site. I get tons of compliments from business clients and others, and I contribute my website to most of the business I am getting now.

If you have the time, I would be so happy if you left a quick comment on my blog so I can have a record of this day and statements from my friends to help keep me going.

Thank you everyone for all your support. I just got back from my roadtrip with my BF and it was a lot of fun! It was so wonderful to take our time, stopping to take pictures whenever something piqued our interests. I'm still thinking about the main things I've learned over this past year, and it's still amazing how much more I have to learn!
