AWE such a pretty Bird.:lust Hope the family does well.:thumb
We had a Mourning Dove in our house for like 12 years. Poor thing got hit by a car and lost a wing...they are one of the sweetest Birds. :lust
P.S. We live on a Fish and Wildlife station so yes it was ok.
As a rule you need a permit to keep wildlife.
just don't want to be misunderstood...that's all.:D

I must have missed this one.
I have lots of doves in my backyard, but I've never seen them on eggs.

Nice shot. I like the surrounding vegetation. I've never caught one actually sitting on eggs either. Good find.
