Nice series. It may be my monitor (work laptop) but the images look mildly underexposed. A slight levels adjustment should make them pop. Sharpness and captures are awesome.

Cheers Travis. You could be right, I did some very quick pp on my laptop under different light to my usual spot, so I may have missed the levels on them. It was overcast though and quite dark at times, so the shots don't have the bright feel of a sunny day.

Thanks Harry! I sat and watched the one egret there for a good 45 minutes. He was extremely active.

They aren't underexposed on mine. More exposure would blow out the whites.
Thanks BigAl! No, I have been using the Nikkor 18-200 here in Kyoto because the birds let you get very close, and I still don't have a decent tripod for the Bigma.
