Wow... I broke down and finally bought a film camera. It seems to be the way the trends are going, but I needed to wait until they went down in price before I finally sprung for one. After months and months of reviewing FPR (filmphotographyreview.com) and waiting for the next new camera to come out, I finally settled on a brand spankin' new Holga medium format film camera. I did have to splurge $35 to get the onboard flash, but 37 years ago that would have cost me hundreds.

So, today I went and picked up my first two rolls of film since 1999 (about then, anyway). It was fun to feel the anticipation of looking at prints rather than seeing them on the computer first. Here are my first Holgaroids from my very own Holga...

Thanks for stopping in. Don't be afraid to take that step into the mysterious world of film. It's actually quite fun once you get used to the complexities of the Holga. http://www.digitalgrin.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao.gif
