This shot is from the Rookery over in Kissimmee Fl. I just was amazed at it's orange Feet, it is like he stuck them in a can of orange paint..Of course i'm new to birding so I haven't seen alot of the changes that take place during the mating season..
Tell me what you think ok Always trying to improve.

Comp looks fine to me along with the surrounding habitat. You captured some nice detail in the breeding plumage. The very top of the back of this snowy looks a bit hot. Have you tried using the shadows/highlight function to tone down the whites on the top of the birds back? Alternatively, you could use selective color to add more black to the white or better a combination of the two. Use the lasso command to select just those parts that need to be lessened.

I think the snowy keeps its yellow shoes throughout the year.
Good capture:thumb

Thanks Stephen I see what you mean about the top of the back, I'll play with that part and see how it turns out.
All comments highly appreciated

Nice one! They really do step in a can of paint right before the mating season!
