Finally some small success. 1st I want to thank Harry, Trish for sending me my own Egret. Yes arrived safely today. And here is the proof:

All shot with FZ20 and TCON14B aboard

And finally a BIF, I know not great but Geez it's my 1st. It's hard to get a good BIF while your holding the Egret leash in one hand and shootin with the other :rofl

I hope you enjoy and except me in the Egret Club :thumb

Hey Ben,

Good work.:clap I like the comp on the first shot. Good try on the BIF. They are definitely one of the hardest shots to get.

Thank you for commenting. Yes, it definitely is a great bang for the buck camera and with the 1.4 extender it can deliver, but I'm sure I'll be moving up soon :thumb

Thanks Kirwin. Hope to will be visiting this area regularly now.
Have you tried this extender, it seems quite good. I did notice some blue fringing on certain images where background was badly blown, but images was bad in 1st place so no biggy. :thumb

Very good job Ben :thumb :thumb

Looks like it was tough lighting (which makes it twice as hard to properly expose these guys :rolleyes ), yet you got some very nice results :clap

I feel your pain on the BIF shot. They are usually very difficult to nail. I think you did just fine for your 1st BIF :thumb

Thanks for sharing these and I hope you get more opportunities to shoot this guy before he has to be returned.:lol4 I think Harry's Bird of the Month Club gives you 2 weeks, if I'm not mistaken. Don't keep him too long, I hear the overdue charges are killer :haha

Hi Ben,

Nope, I don't own any sort of extender or teleconvertor... would like to buy Panny's lens, but the cheapest I have found this lens for is $412.00.

Thanks Kirwin. Hope to will be visiting this area regularly now.

Check out these sites, you can do better then $412 with same quality
