First off I'd like to say that I am extremely new to Smugmug and a I am a web-designer(thefireguysphotos.com and ssvfd.com). I understand HTML very well, and know just a little PHP. I have a site (www.thefireguysphotos.com) and I was just wondering where I need to put what code....I tried to browse over it, and I'm pretty much lost. I'm trying to make my gallery look exactly like my page, so I can keep everything consistent. I'd like the gallery to take up the area where my bog posts are now(the container div)..
anybody have any insight as to where I need to start?....

I recommend re-thinking that. You can put individual photos or a slideshow within a blog entry, but I don't know of any way to put a full gallery in that space.
What you can do is match the banner and navbar entries between the blog and your smugmug site so that it looks like a seamless transition between the two. Use the blog for blog entries and use SmugMug's power for your photos.
If you'd like to see an example of sharing the banner between the two environments, you can take a look at my site. Yes, I do include photos in my blog, but I also use my blog to drive people to my photo galleries. Click on a photo in the blog and you will go to that photo in my gallery.
If you haven't done so already, take a look at the tutorials linked from the >>> CUSTOMIZATION: Start here <<< sticky at the head of this forum. Also, look at the document linked from the CSS (Customizing SmugMug Simplified) sticky, also at the head of the customization forum.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't specific enough. My goal is trying to match my gallery to my blogs layout...I just have no idea how to do that...If I just copy and paste the HTML for my page, how do I get the gallery up?...
I basically want to take my site, and put it on my smugmug page, just replacing the blog posts with the gallery...
is there a list of which divs have what ID's and classes that I could look at? Sorry but I'm just completely lost..
As for the "banner" Thats actually a fixed background image.
This is basically what I'm trying to get my home page to look like:

Of course, I'll make the gallery blend in more...but thats what im TRYING to accomplish...Is that possible?

You can use your background image, and you can use the colors. The bulk of the customization is done with CSS.
A great deal of the information you are looking for - including a general description of SmugMug pages as well as the classes that are already defined - is in the (CSS) Customizing CSS Simplified document that I mentioned in my previous post. Here's a link to the forum entry - http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=54833.
And yes, most of what you are trying to do is certainly possible. I believe that you are going to run into a problem with the navbar on the side though. Smug doesn't play well in frames although there is a setting that you can use to disable the frame warning, see http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=66912.
