Show it Web to DVD

I searched high and far for a thread that discussed show it web being burned to dvd with another program. (Not using the online $50 crap)
Does anyone know what I am talking about??

I was thinking of using Snag It or another screen copying program but that would degrade quality.

Then I thought of using a HDTV output to another PC with a HDTV reciever/tuner and copy it in its digital form. Yet this would be costly.

Over all using a software would be the most effecient and thrifty.
