I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but the second one is screaming for a B&W treatment. This shot works on all kinds of levels. I really like it.

Thanks, guys. I like these two shots too, especially the second one. Thomas, I considered a conversion (imagine that) but I like the different colored umbrellas. And rain+death != B&W in my head. But maybe I'll try.

Instead of a B&W, for now, you might have to settle for a story. I saw these guys outside the funeral home with their umbrellas and I just had to shoot them. Pulled the car over and walked back with camera. These are the funeral drivers who work for the funeral home. They are out there maybe every 3rd morning. It's not like this is the family. So I walked back shooting and asked if I could shoot them. They weren't hostile, just didn't want me shooting them. So they turned their backs, and that's the second shot.

I haven't really gotten used to the idea of taking pictures of strangers. I really like the way there are no faces in the second shot.

Edit: I also wondered about the sign. The "sons" part is out of place with the rest of the sign. I bet there is a story there somewhere.

I guess I was in a particularly bold/rude/stupid state of mind today. See my shots of sloth for the challenge here (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=8889). The guy with the Bud Light would probably have hit me if he hadn't been too, ... slothful.

Thanks. I'll investigate and post if I discover anything. Maybe I can make friends with these guys. There is often a great picture there when I drive by in the morning.
