Im serious...walked through thousands of birds all day & not one lousy egret !!

Pretty pathetic if you ask me. What kind of half-assed country are you living in? :rofl

Good pics BTW. Excellent color

Awsome color in the bird shots! That wildlife makes me want to visit your neck of the woods sometime.

Dont think your safe if you only swim in fresh water here...lot of one legged birds about.

Got some more creatures coming as soon as i can get them on SM...stay tuned.
What exactly are these Gus? Now I can see why you enjoyed the trip to Africa so much, you are used to wildlife. It makes me realise how safe and boring Europe is.
Shay.

Those lorikeets are like pidgeons...everywhere :D

Beautiful colo{u}rs on the birds too. Oh, and I listened to the audio
clip. That would creep me out too.

Me too. What an unsettling racket. You say that sound was the koala? I would have never guessed that.

Birds, Snakes, Roos and Eels (oh my :wink ) you've been a busy boy :rofl Looks like you and your camera are taking to each other very well :clap

Love those colors on the Lorikeets :wow :wow :wow You should bring a few up with you in May.....lol Who needs egrets when you have those little beauties around? I bet they are almost impossible to get in flight, but I'd sure have fun trying.....LOL

Interesting story and lots of really nice bird/animal pics :thumb :thumb

Thanks for sharing,
Steve
