Went to Seaworld and what did I find, EGRETS of course.

All taken with my new 70-300 DO lens. So far I'm pretty impressed with it.

Very nice shots and two egrets for Egret Fest too. :thumb The second bird is a Wood Stork.

Nice Tom! Good sharp images.

That Wood Stork is also an adult. The juvies are white from the back of the
head down. A second year bird would have color (or I guess a lack of
feathers) starting down the neck.

They've got beautiful flight feathers too.

Thanks for lookings guys. I'll be sure and check out your butterflies Path. I think "bokeh " fish. I'll try and get a shark shot just for you. The kids are having a great time. Thanks for the ID help Harry and Ian. I'm not really a birder as you can tell.
