Hey,

I went to shoot for the Office of Admission for my univeristy and took some shots of Ultimate!

Wondering if anyone else shoots it at all... would love to see more so that I get better ideas.

Enjoy these ones

If you are looking for ideas, it looks like the photos are either out of focus or you cropped too much.

Also your angle of shooting the participants is bad as you want to be between the participants and the sun. On a noon time game that would be difficult, but judging the long shadows, it was early morning or late afternoon, which is actually the best time to shoot sports as the light is directly shining on them. Your shadows should be going away from you, not across the picture. In many sports you just can't get around that as the field, stands, and fans sometimes determine where you shoot from. With Ultimate freesbee, you are not limited.

Also, it looks like you shot while standing up. Sport pictures look so much better by getting low and shooting up.

Thanks for the advice... sometimes i wonder about my lens and it's focusing issues occassionally... sometimes it focus' too fast and gets distracted.

also probably should have posted the unedited samples :D

just prefer these ones hah

... the ground was very wet/muddy that is why i was standing haha

thx again
