Emailed photos not showing up on map

I am starting to do alot more geotagging using my phone (it has gps).

I email the photo to my smugmug account,
It shows up in my galary.
The galary is public.
When I click on Edit geography, the properly formatted coordinates are on the picture.BUT,
When I look at the map of my pictures, it doesn't show up. even after 10 or 20 minutes.

Does this feature even work?

when I go into the map and search by my username they don't show up!

What's the difference?

OK, I see that you searched by Album.....

But...I still am curious why they wouldn't show up under the username search?


OK....WT*....now they are showing up on my username map search.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS BEHAVIOR!

Seriously.
Do you have to post about a picture on dgrin forum for them to show up on your username map search?
Does it wait until Thursday at 5:30 pm pacific time to update the maps?
