I'm sure I've seen the code for doing this somewhere -
Example :-
I have a category aaaaaaa
galleries within it - bbbbb, ccccc, ddddd etc
If I create a subcategory of aaaaaaa, called xxxxxx, it displays above all the other galleries in aaaaaaa. Is it possible for subcategory xxxxxx to display in the list of galleries of category aaaaaa, so that when I click on xxxxxxx the galleries within it display in what would seem to me to be a more logical way.
I don't have an example of this at present, I'm just asking in principle

Luckily I've been saving some of these tips as browser bookmarks. Maybe one of these will meet your needs:
Have subcategories follow galleries - http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=67241/
Intermix subcategories and galleries within a category - http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=71978. (I thought I was going to use this one for my travel category but after I tried it I didn't quite like the finished look. Although I have to admit I didn't take it any further, just removed the code.)

Hi Denise,
The former doesn't achieve what I wanted and the second one breaks my other customization. To me its illogical that a sub-category appears above galleries in the main category. I thought I had seen something rcently about this but for the life of me can't find it now. It is only for organizing my private galleries but it would be handy if "sub" actually was "sub"
