Hey Guys,

HELP !! was customing my BIO (dotfur.com OR http://dotfur.smugmug.com/ ) but seemed to have screwed it up.
1. ) when bio is shown up top where I want it , the feature photos of the catagories don't show. They show when BIO is moved down bottom. So , at the moment, I have it down bottom, but want it up top.
2.) CAN'T EDIT. When I click "edit" on BIO , I don't get the edit field, whole BIO area just disappears. Have to go to control panel homepage , and click "show."
I'm sending some screen captures as to it was before fouling up.

Thanks for any help.

There were some serious errors, I took out those that prevented the bio from being editable :thumb remember that most tags need to be opened and closed :thumb If you are working with so many tags in such a small bit of text, I strongly recommend to to use a proper layout so that you can see where the tags are opened and closed. What I usually do, is I copy and paste the text in something like texteditor/notepad. The bio box is just too small and the overview is lost before you know it.

You need to make a few fixes still; Remove the red, and add the green:

<html>

<div id="myBioText1">
<span style="color:#cfcfcf; font-size:larger; font-weight: normal"> MARCH 18, 2008 :

Things are looking up. Took your recomends except first span ( can't paste it, don't know how to get out of code mode once it stars in forum reply. ) Made the font too small for me.
Any idea what happened with http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/4247098_AZ9hW ( the MARTY LATELY photo in bio links to it. )
Text use to flow around the photo there , think it was a grey background. etc. Code in the edit field has exclamation marks and alien to me stuff ?

Thanks again,

Marty (voicelit, dotfur.com, http://dotfur.smugmug.com/)

You're CSS is not active on the page, go into customize gallery and check
no for "hide owner" and make sure "custom" is checked for appearance.

Seems like it was more that I changed my nickname so that the link to the page / gallery was all confuselated . Correcting the nickname ( where it once said " http // etc blah blah smugmug etc photofur" now said " http // etc blah blah smugmug etc dotfur" seemed to straighten everything out.
Wonder if there were instructions somewhere for this consequence of changing your nickname?
Wonder what else I haven't noticed might have gone funny.

Thanks again,

Marty
