missing slideshow

For some reason my slideshow isn't showing up today on my homepage where it has been residing comfortably for quite some time. I haven't been into the control panel at all so is there a problem happening at Smugmug that I don't know about?

Hi, you're using one level behind the latest javascript show, that was stopped from support back in November 2007 :) Can you please update to the latest flash slideshow, it's easy, post#1 here in this thread:

I looked at the new slideshow instructions you linked to and as directed checked that the gallery had 'allow external links' checked which it was not for some reason. Now the homepage slideshow is working fine. Is there any reason why I should change it if it's all working fine?

Yes, that javascript slideshow is old and tired. Not supported by the hacker that wrote it.
