I'm going through images from last year sitting on Bridge that needed to be PP'd. Here are a few. I'm really looking forward to open water here in Minnesota in about three weeks, these guys are my favorite subject matter hands down.

Absolutely beautiful!! I just asked on this site about a month ago if anyone had any loon pictures - I love them. I vacation every summer up in Maine at my parents cabin on Flanders Pond. We always have loons, sometimes with babies, sometimes not (the eagle and osprey population is growing and the loons go nuts every time one is in the area). I don't have a very good lens but have gotten very close to them unexpectedly when we are out in the kayaks and they just pop up in front of us. My point and shoot and a rocking kayak don't make for the best pictures. I'll try with my new dSLR this summer but I still think lens length will be an issue. Thanks again.
