Hey Guys,
Using Picassa2 as my image editor. However, do I even need to use an image editor, or does Auto Color make all the necessary adjustments to get my uploaded images fit for printing?
I can see that I'd have to crop images to suit my taste and desired result.
Being the furthest thing from an expert image editor, I do not want to adjust color, sharpness, etc, if Auto Color will do this expertly for me.
Thx a lot,
Tom

Hi Tom,
While our Auto Color is great, it won't necessarily correct all problems.

It works very well for slightly (or a bit more) under exposed shots. It will not correct color casts, caused by white balance issues or indoor lighting. It will also not help enough on badly under exposed shots or with skin tone issues.
Bottomline, for many photos, Auto will do the job very well. But there are always exceptions, like those I mention above. So having a nice piece of post processing software is pretty much a necessity.
If you are still unsure, send (help@smugmug.com) us a link to one of your galleries and one of our color experts will give you feedback :D
