while waiting for Golden Sunset light :lol4
Hello All,
Well, you may have already seen some posts from Andy, Ed and Ian about our shoot yesterday. If so, you know that we had a ball :clap :clap :clap We ate a huge lunch after our Elkhorn Slough trek. We were still full hours later, so Andy, Ian and myself contented ourselves with a small dinner of New England Clam Chowdah in sourdough bread bowls :eat
We were just sitting around, pretty bored, waiting for what we hoped would be a nice pink sky at Sunset. Being the experienced birder that he is, Andy decided to do his impression of Sigfreid and Roy and set up a few wild animal photo ops, using our now empty soup bowls, to pass the time :lol :lol
This one requires a wide angle lens, or extremely long arms :lol3 Come here nice birdie....lol

I think I've got a bite

Are you guys getting this?

The way the rest of the day had gone shot-wise, we weren't too surprised when the pink sky we had been waiting for, never materialized :dunno So Ian headed home and Andy and I packed up to get him to the airport. As we were leaving, we saw a typical California driver about to pull out of a parking space :lol3

(I told you I could get it Ian....lol)
Anyhow, despite the dearth of opportunities, we made the most of what we saw and had a super time shooting together :clap
I hope you enjoy this little story and thanks for looking,
Steve
