Missing galleries

I have been over and over these threads and yes I am a noob. I am simply t rying to get my slide show to show in the middle of my page with out this funny looking grey surrounding area. Also, in my NAV bar I have an About Me and also a Contact in which they connect to empty galleries where it only says my information for both. The problem being, when you look at my Galleries - it shows these two empty galleries. Is there any fixes for my noob problems? Thank you so much!

Set the direct linked nav info galleries tp private and they won't show on the
galleries page.

Remove the bold here, not doing anything.

Change this one

#bioBox {text-align:center;}

to these

#bioBox {background: none;}

And while I'm at it, could you please tell me how to change my galleries page to have custom font, etc. Thank you so much. I know there is not one easier answer for this so I am prepared!
