Just wanted to share some of my macros, feel free to critique these as it helps me learn.
All shots taken with a Nikon D200 and Sigma 150 Macro some with 1.4tc and off camera flash.

Hi Gareth, the first shot you've posted before in an earlier thread.
It's still my favourite, even out of this lot :clap
The Moth stands like a Bull on a mountain ridge strutting its stuff!
I like the light on this one too.
No.4 - looks like it's happily stripping away the plant, he's quite a hairy little fella.
I gotta say your inflight Ladybugs are really amazing.
Excellent work Gareth, nicely presented :thumb ... Skippy :D

love the lady beetle shots - well done. I had my first opportunity this morning to try and take lady beetle shots but these pale in comparison to yours. Nice photos.

What is with all these ladybugs showing you how they fly???
Gawwwwwwwd .... I think they are amazing.
They take off pretty dang fast those little critter.
Yours are the only shots I have ever seen with wings open and either ready to fly or already in flight :clap .... Skippy :D

yeah gotta admit, the lady bugs jumping and taking off for flight are pretty impressive, are you shooting live view or with a viewfinder?
either way im impressed.
