I know, but the southern season is over. Time for Tornado Alley to heat up. Might be a dangerous May... we're way behind for tornadoes this year.
In St. Louis we got green skies oten enough... and once I saw what might have been a 'shelf' cloud racing in. Haven't seen a green sky here, I don't think.

I love to shoot sky pictures, but I've never had one turn out 1/10th as good.I would bet you have some great photos. I've had my digital cam for a little over a year. I've taken 2,500 pictures with it. I used an SLR for 30 years, but it took a while to get my confidence with my new digital. The great thing is, you can practice all you want for free. I'd love to see some of your pictures, and thanks for the compliment.

You're right, I am enjoying it. I love being able to combine it with one of my passions, which of course is exploring on my bike. I don't think I'll ever really get good with it like some of you though because I'm bored with instruction manuals. I have no idea what all this little camera knows how to do. I'm getting a little bit curious because of all those great shots people here post, I love those close ups of the running water and the awesome detail with those cool lenses some of you have. But no matter where this takes me, I'm really enjoying the journey!
