Happy day for me!!! :clap

Just ordered a Canon 20D, two lenses, Lowepro Nature Trekker AW 11 back pack, 2 gig of memory, Manfrotto Tri-pod, extra battery, lens hoods, and upgrade for photoshop CS. (from B&H)

Look out Andy :wink I will be heading to the city (when I learn how to use this thing:rolleyes ) Harry I was going to go with Nikon, but changed my mind at the last moment.

I still will have my F717, and hope to start posting here regularly. I have been hanging out and really like Digital Grin. :thumb

Thanks
Dean

Welcome to Dgrin Dean :wave

I have to agree with the Andy and Gus, you are in for a treat :clap Coming from a 717, you are going to be amazed. Not to say that the 717 is chopped liver. It's a stellar performer, in it's own right :thumb

Not sure if you'll ever need the spare battery though. The 20D's battery lasts even longer than the 717's :wow

Let us know hat you think of it after you've had a chance to play with it. Matter of fact, post some of your 1st pics :thumb

Congrats and good shooting,
Steve

Sure... will post ASAP. It should ship out Monday from B&H.
May take a few days to get the basics down. I have a project for work already. I have to shoot our stonewalls on our property at work. We have miles of them. Making large prints and postcards of them.:thumb

Also looking forward to shooting RAW.

Thanks
Dean
