Software for batch renaming pictures and other good features! CAM2PC

I don't know about you, but I like my pictures to have a specific name based on the date / time. I have LONG names like:

20050323_170523_0001.jpg (date / time / 4 digit number as an easy to identify #)

I have been looking on the web for a long time for a SW that will allow me to do this and I finally found one!

Check out all the batch renaming features, they're AWESOME! They go by the EXIF data!

PS: The freeware version gives you all the renaming features... also an explorer view of pictures / mov files, etc.

I do a similar renaming to my files to keep track of them and integrate several cameras.

On Mac OS X I use exifrenamer (http://www.qdev.de/?location=mac/exifrenamer) and a better finder renamer (http://www.publicspace.net/ABetterFinderRename/index.html) for non-exif renaming tasks.
