...deliberately excluded what you asked for. It was a labor of love...destroying client files of our father-in-law who had just recently died.
Jim is married to my wife's sister. His sister was married to my now deceased brother. But, he and I have been friends long before any other relationships.

Ric, both your friend, and this photo are of fine "character". There is a sadness and quiet intensity to his look, which contrasts nicely against the flames in the background. Very organic shot, thanks for sharing.

Your comments are well received. The 20D gets all the credit on this one. Shot was done in full auto mode. Cropping and minor adjustments in post. I have had some very pleasing results with the 17-85 IS Canon lens.
