I was in Simi Valley (California) today and while killing a little time between clients, I decided to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. I did not have time to go inside, so I will have to return with more time another day.

Thank you! I was actually crawling on and hammering away at the wall in Brelin back in December of 1989. Very interesting times! Sad, but the last person shot and killed for trying to escape East Berlin, was in February of 1989...

Hi Nikolai,
No, I only had 45 minutes. I pass by the library all the time and will make a point to go back when I have some free time. I do want to see RR's Air Force One!

Skippy, it's actually that Monolith from Space Odyssey, just painted over for disguise, so it's as old as it can get :rofl

Thanks everyone!
Skippy, I don't know about the paint job, but it part of the Berlin wall. Someone must have coated it so that it will stay "fresh" ann "new" looking. There was a shortage of hammers around Berlin at the time. Every store was sold out!
