For my digital art class we were assigned to do a tabloid. Instructions for the assignment are as follows: Create a tabloid cover. The cover should consist of at least 2 images, a title and image captions. These two images should be composites of 2 or more photographs. Keep in mind the design principles.
After a little brainstorming and google image searching and some time on PS this is what I ended up with...

Let me know if there is anything I should think about fixing. Thanks for your help!

Hahaha, this is great! :rofl

The pictures are well done, but I think they deserve better context. Older style fonts and aged paper perhaps? Make it look as old as the pictures do.

I like Pyry's idea about older style paper, even a little newspaper type dotted look.

You came up with a great idea there Prity Goldfish :clap
Hope you get a good score for you project :thumb .... Skippy :D

Thanks!!:D
I tried to give the background more of an old newspaper feel... how's the font? If you know of some cool font plug-ins that would be awesome. I also added some people and some smoke to the right hand image.
wudya think??

I think you're already pretty close :D

You could change the airplanes to fighters, go back to the faded sepia and change to a more worn-looking pattern on the backround.

You could even print it, crumple the print, straighten it back out and take a picture of that :D

Just some sugar-buzzing ideas there :thumb

Hi again, this was the newspaper look I was thinking about,
wasn't sure how to describe it to you, so I found a link to show you :thumb

Great progression here, that looks like fun! My only "complaint" is that the gummy bear is in exactly the same pose in both shots. Maybe tilt the one in the first shot a few degrees clockwise? Then you get a nice stomp-stomp effect. :D Maybe a hair more contrast in the B&W?

Now we're talking! :thumb

Nitpicks: change the date to 1958 :wink, and maybe a more random dotty pattern for the backround if you can find one.

Change the million to billion- 400million doesn't even cover one major building. Fun layout.

Hahaha. Great work. I was going to say add a paper texture to it (looking at the first pic), but I see that you've done that already.
