I'm looking to create a link on my nav bar that will be titled something like "Portfolio"... is there a way if I add the keyword "portfolio" to my images that I can make the link bring up a fake gallary of all the images I have tagged with "portfolio" or some other word? All the images will be in numerous other galleries, which is why I'm hoping to make this link fake a gallery and allow a filmstrip or slideshow assigned view to it....

I know I could just reupload the photos to another gallary, but it makes adding and removing pictures to it much more time consuming... if this link works - then I can just add a keyword to any photo and it will magically appear in that fake gallary...

I would also really love to see the link "See photo in gallary" like the Popular Photos group has...

Anyone have pointers on how to accomplish this? I can't imagine it would be impossible and I'm willing to put the time into it to make it work... I just wasn't sure what to search for on the forums to do this...

Thanks in advance!

You can certainly put a link to a keyword in your navbar. I just grabbed one of your keywords as an example:
(http://www.tanksdigitaleffects.com/keyword/vacation)http://www.tanksdigitaleffects.com/keyword/vacation (http://www.tanksdigitaleffects.com/keyword/vacation)
If you go to the page you'll see that it does have a "see photo in gallery" link under the photos. So adding a keyword of portfolio to selected photos would allow you to access them easily.

I use a keyword to drive my homepage slideshow. I just add a keyword of deniseHome to any photo that I want to add to the slideshow, and I can easily remove that keyword from photos too.

Wow that's so weird - I TOTALLY just tried that but I think my internet connection was flakey or something - as it kept telling me the page could not be found when I did that... thought perhaps I had to enable something, but it works now....

Thanks for the sanity check! :)

Yes indeed, that's a nice trick. But the gallery comes up with thumbs on the left and a medium photo image on the right. Is the a way to force it to at least start off as "traditional" thumbnails only?
