Hi - We've been tinkering and we decided we'd like a transparent banner. I used Photoshop to make a real simple text only banner and saved it as a transparent png. I see that it's uploaded in site files, but when I put the photo # in my css, it doesn't show. Is this is a problem with how I used Photoshop, or with my code? Thanks Tracy

Hi, from the Start Here sticky thread
http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=52812

go to the banner tutorial
and follow the code for making it work in IE6 as well as the good browsers.

Holler if you're stuck after that, okay?

I already had code to adjust for IE. Is there more for IE6 that I am not seeing? Thanks, Tracy

I'm still tweaking... I want to get rid of the empty biobox, but can't seem to do it. My code says
#bioBox {
text-align: center;
background: none;
}

so if the background says none, why is there a square for the biobox?

As long as I am here - is there a way to make the box for "powered by smugmug " etc smaller? Thanks
