Interesting observation. Now that you mention it. Since it is mostly for show at this operation now I quess they are not worried about getting them down but to keep people from stealing them. I look at some other shots and 2x4 is attached.

Oooooooooow No.#2 has set the scene for a thriller type movie.

The old stone dwelling has got some character about it,
what was that used for ?? ( image 6 )

Those Wagon Wheels certainly are not going anywhere are they,
interesting way to display them though :D

The stone building was a jail at Coloma CA the hinge #4 is on one of the cell doors.
