OK, I couldn't decide whether to post this in People, Landscapes, Sports, Other Cool Shots or whatever??? All I knew was that it didn't go in Macro. Took this last weekend in the Adirondaks with my trusty OLD 3MP Pentax Optio 33WR, which I schlep all over when climbing. Durn thing is indestructible and so long as I keep a spare set of warm battries, seems to shrug off cold. I've had to chip ice off it on a few occasions, and have dropped it I don't know how far or how many times. It's the Timex of P&S cameras. The buttons on it are pretty easy to manipulate with big gloves on, which comes in handy when it's 10f below.

Anyway this is my friend Vinnie (also a DGrinner) leading a fairly easy 100 foot waterfall climb known as Quinn the Esquimo, in the Chapel Pond Canyon.

Wanna come along next trip???

Very cool shot.

There is a photographer (Dave Black) http://www.daveblackphotography.com/lightpaintings/pages/lp0011.htmthat takes some really cool shots of ice climbing where he lights up the ice. He taught at a workshop I was at this past summer and is just a super guy and awesome photographer.
