I use the word "shallow" as opposed to "in-depth." :)

I set myself the goal of doing an in-depth review of all my gear on my photoblog this year (NOT resolutions, mind you!), but this is not one of those reviews.

I just posted some very quick thoughts on the 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS on my site, as well as two example shots: My coffee grinder @ f/4, 1/25 of a second at 200mm! Loving that IS!!

It's a great lens. In fact, it's my favorite lens. Sharp, versatile, and I get a lot of images from it that I just *love*.

That is a great lens. I can see more from the picture taken by this lens than my naked eyes.
this photo was taken from 50 meters away under the dim light.
