the reflection of the polar bear adds nicely, that lion is good also - he's often way off in the distance.... nice set!!!

Thnxs Troy. The Lion was way off. I used the Bigma and a huge crop.. I really went at a horrible time.. It was crowded today and it was right smack in the brightest light. I really went for the eagle but the sucker would not turn around for the life of me..

Ok im gonna share with you one of my secrets with the eagle. you need to get its attention... bring something that looks like a snake and makes a kinda scratching noise when brushed on the ground. use your foot and scrape this thing while you hold the camera ready - this is what I did and it worked for me.......

For most common birds I recommend slathering oneself with honey and rolling in bird seed.
Sure it plays havoc with the cars interior but hey... we must sacrafice for our art.:D

I love the Polar Bear, man they are an impressive animal. Lions no slouch either,
