And not an egret among them.

I shot all of these this morning. All in the wild. I know they are not all great, but what the heck.

Hey Brian,

The unknown duck is a Hooded Merganser. You got some good captures. I liked the muskrat and the pheasant shots. http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif Sorry that you couldn't get an egret. A day without an egret is like a day w/o sunshine. http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/yelrotflmao.gif

Hey Brian,
Nice set. I really like the Pheasant. The fence and the OOF background compliment the bird nicely.

I agree, the wire pattern of the fence contrasts nicely with the colors of the pheasant and the OOF grass tufts in the background. Very nice image. Looks like you had a very productive morning, Brian.

Very nice. I am so jealous about the owl. I guess we had one around here, and I missed it. The ospreys chased it away.

And I shot 50 blurred shots of ospreys today.

ginger, i do like the pheasants, too, the ducks, lots of them.........

Thx for the comments everyone.

I had a great morning, the pheasant topped it off. I was on my way back home and he?she crossed the road in front of me, I pulled into a driveway and got off three shots while it was on the fence, then my CF card was full. I tried to change the card before it dropped down into the grass but didn't make it..

I was really pleased with that one when I downloaded it
