I am not sure if the are macro, more close ups I think, so I will put these bees, butterflies, ants, and spiders here. I took them when I was on a recent trip to Lake Chapala (Ajijic), Mexico.

This is a really cool solitary bee that I chased around the garden for days. I didn't get a really good shot, but here it is.

This bee lives in the belly button of this statue. I realized too late though because it was the night that I left so didn't get a good photo of that either, but if you look in the belly button you might see a shiney triangle (that is its head).

Hi there Spechtal, I really like the image of the Bee flying towards the flower, that is a very very cool BUTT SHOT indeed :clap :clap

You a little bit out with your focusing, and over exposure,
which I am sure you can overcome.

Those little ants sure can carry an incrediable load on their backs.
It would be quite a sight to see them in action.

Interesting series .... thanks for sharing :thumb .... Skippy :D

I LOVE the ant picture! They are fascinating little creatures :D.

I also nearly shat myself with the spider. I have snakes, lizards, frogs, wouldn't bat an eye twice at any sort of cockroach or scorpion, I've gone swimming with alligators, but get those big hairy spiders AWAY!
