this is the biggest of the three never looked them up but they have to be sandpipers ?? right this one is at lest twice as big as the beach runners i posted before :scratch maybe its well it ain't no egret and eagle nno sandpiper :thumb Jeff

Jeff, were you focusing manually? The focus appears to the forefront of the sandpiper. If you were shooting AF, then you should probably make sure that it is on spot for that type of shot - which, by the way, is an outstanding shot.

If you were using manual focus, you may want to check the diopter adjustment near your your eyepiece.

Jeff, birds pull their legs up so they disappear. I kept thinking there were all these injured birds living on one leg. One day I saw the leg disappear.

Really good shot of a huge sandpiper, just kidding. Nice shot, it really is.

Ginger as always thank you for looking and the comment Dixie you have an eye i will looked again but will pull up the org. i thought i had him any way af and it is spot i know not why yet but my focus seems to reset to closest and that su-- you get the idea .I also shoot every thing handheld and suffer from the lean in at the angle i shot him that may be what you see .the class i took made me really look at my shots and see mistakes the teacher loved my shots for ''here is what not to do ''Jeff
