nice capture [you have a zoo ] looks like they are good friends cockatoo and parrot ?? what breed not sure if breed applys to parrots .do they not make a lot of noise Jeff

Thanks Harry. You might be interested to know that this shot was at about 14x digital zoom :huh and trying out my new monopod (thanks andy :thumb ). Seems these old hands and eyes can use the help :D

Blue and gold Macaw and a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo and yes both are parrots.
Noise, EH DID YOU SAY SOMETHING CAN'T HEAR SH......T CAUSE THESE DA........ BIRDS!!! :lol4 :lol4 :rofl

The Cockatoo only SCREAMS !! :D
The Macaw speaks but rarely, says things like, come here, let me out :D
Great shot of the old cocky & his mate. They are such friendly creatures but man they can bite ! Very sharp shot.
I am embarking on a birdfest of biblical proportions this week-end & hope to get some decent parrot shots with my new 20D.

TimDont get too excited mate...i have never used a DSLR & only have the kit lens. Did i mention i have never used RAW & am still trying to work out what it is ?

Thanks Tim. Really would like to show a bunch of images, but sadly at this moment both of them look more like vultures then parrots (between molting and feather plucking) :D:cry
