I was wondering if there is a way to have the newly downloaded photos to show up first in the gallery and the older photos at the end of the gallery.

I was wondering if there is a way to have the newly downloaded photos to show up first in the gallery and the older photos at the end of the gallery.
You can sort by date uploaded in descending sequence. That will give you the newest uploaded first.

Look on the customize gallery screen, in the Look & feel section.
