It wasn't only about birds..... this young coon showed up to forage at Viera two afternoons.

Last day at Viera, 2-8, it was overcast and wet, and I had the place to myself for quite a while. Lucky me.
Not too often you are looking down at an eagle but the viewing stand at Viera gave me that chance

Red Shouldered Hawk flew off when he decided I wasn too close.

I think if you really look close in shot#3 it is not waving byby:D it is flipping you off :rofl :rofl

Either way, Jeff, I bet he and the rest of the gang at VW were gald to see us all leave so they could get back to normal!

Thanks Harry, that means a lot coming from you. While I was watching this eagle from the platform I spotted 2 otters on the side of the dike. By the time I got closer they were off and in the water so I took advantage of the eagle's actions.
