Hey Tom,
Thats pretty neat but I would have gone less wide open on that shot. If you wanted to focus on the eye area I would have used a tighter crop, w/o the tighter crop the oof areas of the lizard distract from the pic.

Thanks for looking Harry. I really need to get the twin macro flash. I was already at ISO 800 and the I was forced to hand hold as he kept moving around. Natural light macro shots are really tough to get any decent field of view. Point taken though.

Hey Tom,
I have the same issues when I shoot macros. You have to use a very stepped down aperture to egt a decent dof. You really need a ring flash or otehr kind of macro flash to get decent results. I don't shoot enough macros to justify spending too much $ in that area.
