It's amazing what those birds can eat. I mean what they can get down their "skinny" necks.

Nice set

Stupid me, and this time I thought it was all about the light :D
Pristine Harry just Pristine :thumb:thumb:thumb
I'll have you know unlike Andy, and his ribs I like Frog legs, so now you made me hungry :rofl:rofl
I do have one question (just one:scratch) the water changes color in your set is that something to do with the changing light, or is that an in camera change?

Their throat expand and can take in food in sizes you would think was impossible.
Glad you liked the pics.

I love looking at your bird pics Harry. You have so many that we just plain do not get up here. The great Blue herons have started to return and the ducks are migrating through. I hope to get out on the marsh this week, but we just plain dont get the little blues or the reddish, or Ibis or so many others I have see you get.
I'm jealous

Hey Ben,
I hope you had a good dinner now that I've made you hungry. :D
The water is a different color in some of the pic because the pics were taken on different days and at different times. The change in lighting made the water a different colors in the different pics.

Hey Brian,
As they say in real estate the 3 most important factors are: location, location, location. I'm very, very lucky that the place I moved to is turned out to be bird central. It wasn't even a consideration when we moved here.
Thanks for the kind words about the pics.

The small snack one is very nice. The reflection and the capture of the water ripple really makes this pic work for me. Nice shot!:thumb

Hey Jeff,
To answer both questions, after the Little Blue speared the frog he ate it, swallowed it whole, and then smiled. It ain't easy being green. :D

Hey Kerwin,
All those shots were taken at 420mm. At those distances my current flash won't do much besides eat up batteries. I'm hoping to get the better beamer soon and give that a go.
Thanks for the kind words.
