Recently visited Torrey Pines Gliderport where there is a cliff overlooking the beach. Its easily 100 plus feet high. Looking down I noticed these 3 guys and the writing in the sand.
I love the light in this, taken just as the sun goes down.http://peasap.smugmug.com/photos/246899183-L.jpg

I love looking at shots which venture a little off the beaten path and this one's right up my alley. The 3 figures, exaggerated shadows, surreal light and the mysterious "Sonia" work well together :D.

I love it. But to read Sonia I gotta twist my head around...maybe flipping the photo 180 would it better, but I donno if it would take something away from how it is now

I studied this pic and I truly think you have 2 guys and 1 Sonia....something about the figure on the left that feels feminine too me.....and even tho that matters not....well.......This is a photo that truly needs to be enlarged to a min of 30 x 40 inches and hung on a wall for all to see....if it were mine and I had any inclination of doing photography professionally I would find a very nice resturant or office to see if I could find a wall where the public could get a good view of it.
BTW GREAT PHOTO:thumb:thumb:D:D

After a while you tend to see a lot of images that are similar to ones you have seen before. This one is totally new to me. Love it.

Wow, guys, thanks for the comments. It is one of my favourite pics on a number of levels, the shadows, the light and the writing in the sand.
My only question is why I hadn't signed up for Smugmug before! What a great group of peeps!!
