charles, dramatic shot but it could use a bit of punch, as most shots from the air do. this was a two-second curves adjustment, just used the black eyedropper and sampled a dark spot down low. i suppose with the raw file one could perhaps do more, even. anyhow, fwiw:

I had in fact enhanced it quite a bit from the washed out orig. But you are right. I was too conservative and it needed more.
